Global Pastors Conference 2024 – “Present and Future of Christianity”

On May 1st, the first “International Christian Pastors Conference” of its kind will take place in Frankfurt, under the theme “Present and Future of Christianity in Europe.”

The organizer of the conference is the “Zion Christian Mission Center” (ZCMZ). Approximately 130 pastors and church leaders from six countries are expected to attend. The goal of the event is to establish a universal network and collaboration among evangelists and church leaders to collectively initiate a new chapter of faith revival.

Christianity in Decline

A major challenge facing communities worldwide is the continuous decline in membership numbers and the consequent frequent closure of church congregations. For this reason, various denominations have long been attempting to counter this trend and instead revive Christian faith.

Contrary to the current trend, ZCMZ has experienced exponential and global growth in recent years. Therefore, the focal point of the international pastor conferences is the establishment of a platform that will enable pastors and church leaders to unite under the Word of God and work together for the growth of Christianity in the future.

Seminar Launch in the Philippines

The first launch of the pastor conferences took place in the Philippines on April 20th of this year. Over 4,000 pastors, journalists, and people from diverse backgrounds gathered at the Philippine International Convention Center. Another 90,000 individuals, unable to attend in person due to geographical and space constraints, followed the conference via livestream on YouTube.

Witnessing the Fulfilled Realities of the Book of Revelation

The keynote speaker of the event was Man-hee Lee, the chairman of the “Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony.” He traveled from South Korea to testify to the fulfilled reality of the Book of Revelation on the island nation. “In God’s 6,000-year history, there has never been a time when [God’s prophecies] were not fulfilled. He fulfilled them when the time was ripe,” expressed Man-hee Lee with deep conviction in his voice. The 92-year-old affirmed, “Currently, the Book of Revelation has been fulfilled up to Chapter 17. We must know what has been fulfilled and what has not in order to achieve the goal of faith, which is the kingdom of heaven and eternal life.”

World Travel for Peace

Born in 1931, Man-hee Lee has circled the globe 31 times. During his travels, he meets religious and political leaders with whom he engages in dialogue for a peaceful world. Among other achievements, he facilitated the conclusion of a 40-year-long conflict on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines through diplomatic mediation of a civil peace agreement in January 2014.

Outlook

Shincheonji Bible seminars were already held in 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they took place online. Despite the challenging circumstances, they led to many Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) and an exchange of teachings with various churches and communities worldwide. This indicates that even greater interest and cooperation among the participants of this conference can be expected. Over 28,818 pastors, 889 journalists, and 83,242 other individuals have registered worldwide for this religious event. Consequently, an increase in participant numbers is anticipated.
