Frankfurt, August 8, 2024 – On August 3, 2024, the “Global Pastor Conference” of the “Zion Christian Mission Group” (ZCMG) took place in Frankfurt am Main. Pastors from all over Germany gathered to discuss the qualifications and significance of pastors in the context of renewing the Christian faith.
Goals of the Global Pastor Conference
This conference is part of a global series of events organized by ZCMG, bringing together pastors of all denominations. The aim is to counter the decline in church membership and strengthen the Christian faith. Earlier this year, two other conferences were held at the European level: on May 1 in Frankfurt am Main and on June 15 in Paris. The latter attracted over 7,000 participants, including around 1,000 pastors.
The Role of Pastors and Understanding the Book of Revelation
In the first part of the conference in Frankfurt, representatives from various congregations spoke about their roles as pastors and emphasized the central importance of understanding the Bible, particularly the Book of Revelation. A pastor from Stuttgart stressed, “One cannot and should not speak about something they do not understand.” The responsibility of pastors is immense, as congregants trust them and follow their leadership.
Missionary Success in Sierra Leone
A highlight of the conference was a report from a ZCMG missionary on their work in Sierra Leone. The teachings of ZCMG quickly resonated there, and the number of participants in the educational sessions grew rapidly. Today, ZCMG missionaries are active on the ground, training hundreds of pastors in the parables of the Bible and the Book of Revelation.
Discussion and Reflection
In the subsequent discussion round, pastors had the opportunity to reflect on the current state of the faith community, discuss the significance of the Book of Revelation, and strengthen their networks.
Words from the Chairman and Outlook for Upcoming Conferences
The conference culminated in remarks from ZCMG Chairman Man Hee Lee. In video excerpts from previous conferences, the 92-year-old spoke about the “Re-creation” and the ultimate goal of faith. The conferences: “Fulfilled Realities of the Entire Book of Revelation” and “Testimony on the Fulfillment of Revelation,” reached millions of viewers worldwide.
Further conferences are already planned: on September 28, 2024, an event will be held in Stuttgart, followed by a major conference in November 2024 in Korea, where Chairman Man Hee Lee will personally attend. In Korea, participants can expect a comprehensive program that not only facilitates networking with thousands of pastors from around the world but also offers deep insights into the “heavenly culture” of Shincheonji. The highlight of the trip will be the world’s largest graduation event, with 110,000 graduates, surpassing the graduation ceremonies of 2019, 2020, and 2023, which already saw 100,000 graduates each.
